This is to inform the general public, particularly motorists plying the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, that the earlier announced temporary traffic diversion at Magboro, scheduled to facilitate the installation of a gantry across the expressway, has been postponed indefinitely.

The postponement became necessary following a thorough assessment of the anticipated traffic implications of the operation. It was observed that carrying out the installation at this time would result in significant traffic delays and inconvenience to road users along the corridor.

Consequently, the Federal Ministry of Works and the construction company have resolved to suspend the planned operation pending the determination of a more suitable date and traffic management strategy that will minimize disruption to vehicular movement.

Motorists are therefore advised to disregard the earlier diversion notice and continue to use the normal traffic lanes as usual.

The public will be duly informed of any future arrangements regarding the installation exercise.
