This is to notify the general public, particularly the motoring public that Ithe All Progressive Congress, APC, will be holding its Gubernatorial Candidate’s Declaration Event, on Thursday, 22nd May, 2026, at the APC Secretariat, Olorunsogo, Abeokuta.
Consequently, in view of the high volume of human and vehicular movement the occasion will generate, the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, TRACE, hereby informs the motoring public that those who do not have any business with the activities of the event within and around the APC Secretariat, along Olorunsogo Road, should avoid the axis.
However, there would be diversion of traffic for vehicles coming from Sapon and Ijaiye axis to Iyaba-Mortuary under the the bridge inbound Olorunsogo, as well as vehicles coming from NNPC, Abiola-Way inbound Olorunsogo.
These categories of motorists should avail themselves the following alternative routes, so as not to be stock in traffic at Iyaba-Mortuary, under the bridge.
✓ Motorists from Sapon and Ijaiye inbound Iyaba-Mortuary, under the bridge to Olorunsogo should go through Abiola-Way by the right, turn at Leme Junction, go through the overhead bridge and continue there journey from there.
✓ Motorists from NNPC towards Abiola-Way should also go through the overhead bridge and continue there journey from there.
✓ Motorists from Ajebo, Kenta and Tekobo axis of Idi-Aba, making there way towards Iyana-Mortuary should go through the turning by the left, opposite Baptist Girls Secondary School, enroute the Leme link road towards Abiola-Way and continue there journey from there.
Furthermore, operatives of TRACE, ditto other security and safety agencies would be at the different diversion points to regulate and control traffic, and also ensure that motorists adhere to lay down rules of engagement that guides the usage of the road, in order not to compound traffic.
Notwithstanding, any inconveniences experienced as a result of the trafficvrerouting is highly regretted.
