During the programme, Officer Awoyungbo M.O. enlightened the riders on the following key safety measures:

1. Use of Crash Helmets – Riders must wear crash helmets properly at all times while riding.

2. Desist from Riding Against Traffic Flow – Riders were advised not to ride against the flow of traffic or engage in one-way riding.

3. Avoid Overloading – Motorcycles should not be overloaded beyond the approved safety limit, as this poses serious risks to both riders and passengers.

4. Safe Riding Conduct – Riders were cautioned against excessive speeding, reckless riding, and wrongful overtaking.

5. Prohibition of Mobile Phone Use While Riding – Riders were warned against the use of mobile phones while riding, as it endangers their safety and that of other road users.

6. Proper Documentation – Riders were advised to ensure that all relevant documents are valid, updated, and renewed with the appropriate government agencies as required.

Members of the union were also given the opportunity to ask questions, while all concerns raised were adequately clarified and addressed.
